LOS ANGELES â?" Simmons has partnered with Westin Hotels & Resorts to present a crew of Los Angeles-based firefighters with dozens of Westin Heavenly Beds. Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui helped deliver the beds, which were presented as part of Westin's "Make Monday Better" program for deserving individuals across the country. The brigade of firefighters cheered when Chriqui arrived in a Simmons delivery truck, loaded with 29 Heavenly Beds. Simmons is the exclusive manufacturer of the mattresses. "We are extremely excited to partner with Westin on this incredible initiative, which recognizes and honors the critical role that firefighters play in keeping our communities safe," said Simmons Hospitality Vice President Steve Tipton. "Some of the world's most important, influential people have laid their head to rest on our Heavenly Bed, and we feel it's time these hard-working, dedicated firefighters do the same. Our company mission of providing recharging sleep is perfectly suited for these hard-working and dedicated professionals." "It's truly a thrill to have the opportunity to give back to these local heroes and participate in such a special moment within our community," said Timothy Lusher, general manager of The Westin Pasadena. "Today was a very memorable day for our firefighters," added L.A. Battalion Chief Jon F. O'Brien. "The overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude expressed by everyone involved has truly made this Monday better."
